The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee a team of cleaners, ensuring that all areas of the club meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will play a key role in managing the cleaning team, scheduling shifts, recruiting and training new staff, and coordinating with suppliers for specialised services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the cleaning team to ensure all daily, weekly, and routine cleaning tasks are carried out in line with company standards.
  • Inspecting the work of the cleaning team, providing approval, and ensuring that the equipment is in top condition.
  • Overseeing the team’s schedule, adjusting workloads as needed, and assisting with recruitment and training to maintain high performance standards.
  • Managing stock levels, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, and enforcing the use of appropriate PPE by the team.
  • Being the point of contact for any maintenance issues related to cleaning equipment and machinery, and ensuring all incidents, including health and safety concerns, are reported promptly.
  • Taking responsibility for the safe and secure closing of the building at the end of each shift.

To help you grow in your role, you’ll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.

Schedule

We operate a 7-days a week business, with weekends and bank holidays. This position will require you to cover a variety of cleaning shifts, including day and evening shifts starting at either 09:00, 18:00, or later, depending on the schedule. Flexibility is key in this role to ensure all shifts are adequately covered.
