Hours
40 hours per week — typically 09:00–17:30 (incl. 30-minute lunch), plus overtime as required (evenings/weekends).
The role
You will join a motivated, forward-looking team working with high-spec systems across sound, lighting, video, staging, rigging, DJ/backline and site infrastructure. This role includes warehouse preparation, maintenance, installation and live event operation.
Responsibilities
- Prep equipment for hire, including testing and QC
- Load, deliver and collect equipment and systems (company vehicles)
- De-prep returns: cleaning, maintenance, and booking items in for repair
- Set up and de-rig systems on-site
- Engineer and operate systems for events including exhibitions, sports, awards, festivals, classical concerts, roadshows, seminars and conferences
- Repair and maintenance of equipment and cabling systems (experience-dependent)
- PAT testing (Portable Appliance Testing) of rental inventory
- Work safely and follow Cloud One H&S procedures
Additional training will be provided as and when required.
What we are looking for (must have)

- Confident working hands-on and taking responsibility for show delivery within your discipline (rigging/patching/operating as applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
- Comfortable with long / unsociable hours, including weekends when required
- Professional approach to customers, suppliers and colleagues at all times
- Confident working both as part of a team and independently
- Good communication skills with staff, crew, clients and suppliers
- Full UK driving licence
Advantageous (but not essential)
- Lighting focus
- Working knowledge across multiple disciplines (sound/lighting/video etc.)
- Experience with servicing/repairs, cabling and fault-finding
