We’re partnering with a high-growth ESG SaaS business transforming how global organisations manage sustainability. Their platform enables enterprises and private equity firms to collect, manage and report ESG data at scale, replacing manual, fragmented processes with intelligent, automated workflows. From aligning teams on data collection to delivering audit-ready reports and ensuring compliance with rapidly evolving global regulations, they bring clarity, accuracy, and control to a complex space. In a fast-moving and increasingly business-critical market, they’ve built one of the most user-friendly platforms available, streamlining compliance, reducing risk, and driving real performance improvement. Already trusted by 10,000+ monthly users and achieving 97% customer satisfaction, 100% retention rate, they are making strong inroads with enterprise organisations and top-tier private equity firms. With global regulation tightening and investor pressure increasing, this is a category with huge momentum and long-term potential.
We’re looking for an exceptional commercial leader to take full ownership of revenue and play a pivotal role in scaling the business. This is a true builder role, ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth, scale‑up environments and has experience building and scaling high-performing commercial functions. You’ll work closely with the CEO/ Founders to design and execute the go-to-market strategy, from defining the playbook and hiring the team, through to driving revenue and closing enterprise deals. This role requires a hands‑on leader who leads from the front, setting the standard, actively selling, and building a high-performance culture across sales and marketing. You’ll own the full revenue function, treating sales and marketing as one integrated revenue machine, with accountability from awareness through to closed ARR.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Own the entire revenue function, from awareness through to closed ARR
- Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute the commercial strategy
- Build and scale the commercial team across Sales, BDR and Marketing
- Design and implement the sales playbook, processes, and operating cadence
- Own and deliver against revenue targets, including your own contribution
- Lead from the front, actively selling and supporting complex deal cycles
- Build a high-performance, accountable culture across the commercial function
- Drive marketing strategy and ensure alignment with revenue goals
- Continuously optimise conversion, funnel performance, and GTM efficiency
- Identify and remove bottlenecks across the funnel
- Leverage AI and modern tech stack to enhance performance
- Hire, train, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a VP / Head of Commercial / Sales Director role within a start‑up or scale‑up (Series A-C proven)
- Track record of building and scaling high-performing commercial teams
- Strong experience in enterprise, complex solution selling
- Demonstrated success in GTM strategy and execution
- Experience building and evolving commercial functions in high-growth environments
- Hands‑on leader — comfortable rolling sleeves up and actively selling
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on performance, efficiency, and conversion
- Experience owning the full funnel (sales + marketing alignment)
- Passion for hiring and developing elite talent
- Strong collaborator, able to work closely with senior stakeholders
- Highly driven, ambitious, and motivated by building something meaningful
Why this role:
With a proven platform, growing enterprise adoption, and a market being driven by regulation and investor pressure, the opportunity ahead is significant. For the right leader, this is a chance to take full ownership of the commercial function, shape the go-to-market strategy, and play a key role in scaling a category‑defining business. If you’re driven by impact, autonomy, and the challenge of building something meaningful, this is that opportunity.
