Your role at Clorox:
This position is responsible for Order and EDI management across for the European BU. The role will take responsibility for ensuring customer sales orders are recorded, fulfilled, and delivered against the customer requirements. Ensuring all orders and enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. To be key contact for specified customers and ensure their needs for information and support are covered efficiently from order placement to delivery and any ad hoc post fulfillment duties. Work closely with 3PLs, transport partners and supply chain teams to continuously deliver against agreed targets.
In this role, you will:
Strategy and Execution: 40%
- Process sales orders and order management for agreed customers (EDI, Manual and B2B) via email and phone enquires
- Engagement with 3PL, logistic partners and internal teams to ensure on time delivery and ensure a seamless order-to-cash process. Including pre and post order fulfillment processes.
- Key contact for customer complaints and inquiries whilst providing exceptional customer service
- Proactively communicate issues back to management and follow order management processes
- Engaging in growth culture by assisting in developing workflow improvements, including process (recommending workflow, creating process documentation, etc.) and systems (assisting in the development of business requirements, performing systems testing, etc.)
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close process by preparing necessary reports, reconciling data, and assisting with financial analysis as needed.
Business Results and Targets: 30 %
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement data-driven/cost saving improvements based on order management metrics and analysis
- Support key metrics of Perfect Order and agreed targets
- Implement GPS@CLX goals each quarter, in conjunction with your supervisor.
Efficiency, Innovation and NPD: 15 %
- To document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), then review and update to improve efficiency.
- Working with project managers to support new product development projects where required.
- Maintain accurate order records in ERP system, including customer account details and customer communications.
Communication and Networking: 15 %
- Work with the Planning team to ensure stock is available to supply customers from our DCβs.
- Work with the sales teams to ensure support and understanding of the customer requirements.
- Support training of new OMS staff
What we look for:
Years and Type of Experience:
- 2 years experience within an Operational/Fulfillment background
- High level of organisational skills
- Communications skills to deal with issues, address concerns, and explain solutions.
- Solution focused and High attention to detail
- Experience in assisting team leadership
- Previous experience with ERP Systems β preferable (Oracle/Netsuite)
Education Level/Degree:
- A Level/B tec
Technical Skills:
- Know the process of logistics operation.
- Good working knowledge of EDI
- Relationship management of external providers plus experience.
- Has good knowledge on logistics networks and quality management.
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good understanding of order to cash financial processes (Remittances, Credit notes, deductions)
- Strong in communication and alignment. Able to present self well in both oral and written English.
- Be able to work independently, and interdependently with multi-functional teams
- Strong project management skills and experiences will be a plus
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office β specifically excel
