Your role at Clorox:
Leads small and medium complexity projects through cross-functional teams (i.e., marketing, sales, engineering, R&D, Product Supply and others as needed). Delivers projects for new product launches, new supply chains and/or cost savings. Acts as primary liaison between general management, leadership teams and project teams. Leads projects from initiation (charter) through technical transfer into final implementation. Organizes the cross-functional activities to ensure completion of the project requirements on schedule, on budget and within charter constraints. Ensures the development of risks & contingency plans. Integrates all project activities ensuring clarity and congruency. Enables and ensures appropriate informing, and leadership’s timely decisions. Is the Project Management Process Owner, drives process stewardship, ensures abidance and coaches others as needed. Is considered a key business partner and leader by Category stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Leads projects of any nature (e.g., growth, capability, savings, etc.) from charter to final implementations through cross-functional teams.
- Ensures project deliverables, scope and resources are clearly captured in charter, and agreed to by all stakeholders.
- Drives leadership’s timely decisions by ensuring team has right data analysis, facts, and critical assessment to drive.
- Ensures PM Processes are followed and leveraged by all team. Proactively drives process abidance, explicitly declaring breakdowns and coaching others, as needed.
- Maintains a high performing organization of enthusiastic owners through active listening, direction setting, coaching, and execution.
- Advances project management functional knowledge through coaching, mentoring.
What we look for:
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-7 years leading projects or in Product Supply organizations
Required Qualifications:
- Strong business and project leadership skills, assertive and diplomatic, self directing, able to manage up and down the organization without authority, willing to hold others accountable.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- General knowledge of FMCG products in following areas: Manufacturing, logistics R&D, regulatory, finance and marketing.
- Industry experience with a preference for Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Knowledgeable in stage-gate processes and project management practices (certification / professional project management education preferred).
Education Level/Degree:
- Bachelor’s degree required (engineering/technical degree preferred)
