  • Where: The Climbing Hangar Plymouth - Unit 9, Burrington Business Park, Burrington Way, Plymouth PL5 3LX
  • Pay: £12.96 per hour
  • Working hours: Daytimes, evenings and weekends all year

What you’ll do:

Every day is different, and our team loves the variety. You’ll be doing a little bit of everything, including:

  • Saying hi to climbers and coffee drinkers
  • Helping newbies get set up on their first climb
  • Offering a helping hand for adult and kids coaching
  • Making a few coffees and flexing your barista skills (we’ll teach you how)
  • Keeping things clean, tidy and safe

  • Are happy to chat to anyone
  • Can juggle lots of things, even when the heat is on
  • Want to take their climbing career to the next level
  • Are go-getters and up for anything
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Are committed to safeguarding
  • A Basic DBS is required for this role. An Enhanced DBS and self-declaration form are required if you pursue coaching (TCH Funded)

It’s not essential, but it’s also nice if you:

  • Have customer service or hospitality experience in your back pocket
  • Have a passion for climbing and an interest in promoting the sport to others
  • Have coached before in any setting
  • Know how to make a good coffee / have worked a till before
  • Love having a natter with customers
