About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Virtual Workplace Engineer to join our Remote Compute Engineering Squad within the Capability Centre. This team is at the forefront of supporting, innovating, and transforming remote desktop services, cloud platforms, and SaaS solutions. If you have a strong technical background in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix, combined with a problem‑solving mindset and a passion for mentoring others, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Development: Evaluate organizational needs and design technical solutions that drive innovation.
- Training & Evaluation: Identify training requirements and assess effectiveness.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure efficient device and remote desktop management.
- Content Review: Maintain accuracy and alignment with Windows best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with VDI solutions, preferably Azure Virtual Desktop with Nerdio tooling and/or Citrix.
- Expertise in Azure Cloud, including Entra, Networking, Azure Firewall, and DNS.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps.
- Experience deploying cloud infrastructure via IaC (preferably Terraform).
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
- Familiarity with Intune MDM, configuration profiles, and RSAT tooling (Active Directory, GPO).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to produce architecture and design documentation.
- Experience with application deployment and package management solutions.

Qualifications
