Permanent Position: £25,350.00. 33 days leave including public holidays. Annual performance bonus. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

An established business is seeking a Warehouse, Shipping & FLT Operative to join its growing team based in the Holme Valley area of West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic and friendly organisation, currently expanding its operations and client base internationally. The role involves working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely handling of goods, including temperature-sensitive and hazardous items, for dispatch to various global destinations.

Essential to Apply:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in stock control/stock management.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • In date Counterbalance Forklift licence.
  • Stock Control.
  • Order Picking, Packing & labelling.
  • Goods in & Out/Dispatch.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Experience using bespoke computer systems.
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to multitask.
  • Compliance Awareness, understanding of relevant health and safety, Dangerous Goods, and Known Consignor regulations.
  • Adaptability, flexibility in taking on a range of warehouse-related duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and accurately record incoming stock.
  • Manage storage and ensure items are correctly located.
  • Handle product queries and liaise with internal teams.
  • Prepare, pack and label consignments according to destination requirements.
  • Operate a forklift counterbalance to assist with stock movement and storage.
  • Maintain stock records and monitor warehouse supplies.
  • Assist with stock checks and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
  • Support in compliance with Dangerous Goods and Known Consignor regulations.
