- Rotating 6:00am to 2:00pm / 2:00pm to 10:00pm
- Two paid 15 minute breaks, one unpaid 30 minute break per shift.
- 37.5 hours paid per week.

THE ROLE
Working as part of the Recycling & Waste team, you'll play an important role in supporting the manufacturing operation by ensuring waste materials are collected, processed and recycled safely and efficiently.
You'll operate a range of equipment, including plastic grinding machinery and material handling equipment, while helping to maintain a clean, organised and environmentally responsible workplace.
This is a hands on, predominantly outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
ESSENTIALS TO APPLY
- Experience operating machinery and industrial power tools within a manufacturing or industrial environment, such as grinders, cutting equipment or similar machinery.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, recycling, engineering, production or similar industrial environment.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties, including lifting, loading and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety procedures, safe working practices and the correct use of PPE.
- Able to inspect materials and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative and work independently.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and support overtime when required.
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (training can be provided for the right candidate).
- Experience using manual or powered material handling equipment.
- Previous experience within a recycling or waste processing environment.
- Knowledge of waste segregation, environmental procedures or continuous improvement principles.
