We are currently recruiting for a Junior Estimator to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business based in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody at the early stages of their career who is looking for a long term position with genuine training and progression opportunities. The company is keen to invest in somebody who is motivated, organised and eager to learn. You do not need previous estimating experience, however some administration, customer service or order processing experience would be beneficial.

Main Duties:

  • Assisting with customer quotations and estimates
  • Processing orders and updating company systems
  • Supporting the estimating and sales team
  • Communicating with customers regarding enquiries and orders
  • Checking and maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Learning about manufacturing processes, materials and pricing

Requirements:

  • Previous administration, customer service or order processing experience preferred
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail
  • Looking for a long term career opportunity
