The predicted salary is between 50000 - 50000 £ per year.
Location: Huddersfield/UK - 80% Field based
Standard hours: Monday to Thursday (36 hours per week basic)
Typical total annual earnings in the region of £50,000:
- £19.11 per hour - Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm (36 hours)
- + £1.34 per hour whilst onsite - total £20.45 per hour
- Overtime rate - £28.67 per hour + site allowance if on site
- £28.67 per hour if you work Friday (time and a half)
- + £1.34 per hour shift site allowance - total £30.01 per hour
- Prorated 28 days holidays including stats - 13 floating days
- Hotel & Breakfast paid and £20 meal allowance per day
- Company Pension contribution (Employee must contribute 2.5% pw to qualify)
- Bonus – company performance bonus after qualifying period
- Company van provided – Not for personal use
Due to continued growth, an established and specialist engineering firm, who design, manufacture, install and maintain their equipment around the UK, are now keen to appoint an experienced Site Installations & Maintenance Electrician.
ESSENTIAL TO APPLY:
- Control panel manufacture experience
- MCC build or more complex motor control work
- Testing and commissioning of machinery or systems beyond standard electrical installation sign off
- Full clean driving licence (Max 3 points)
- Experienced site installations & maintenance electrician
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship and/or qualifications
- Happy to work away on a regular basis
- Able to provide own basic tools (Specialist tools provided)
THE ROLE:
- Complete site installations and maintenance on customers' sites
- Testing and commissioning of machinery and systems
- Factory & office based electrical work
- Control panel manufacture
- More Complex MCC (Motor Control Centre) manufacture
- Inspection, testing and certification of installations
- Work as part of a team or alone
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING – BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
- Inspection, testing & initial verification such as C&G 2391, 2394 & 2395
- Confined space training
- Experience within the water industry
- COMPEX qualifications
