How to prepare for a job interview at The Clear
✨Know Your Payroll Stuff
Make sure you brush up on your payroll knowledge, especially around workplace pension schemes and BACs payments. Familiarise yourself with the BrightPay payroll system if you haven't already, as it’s a key part of the role.
✨Showcase Your Client Management Skills
Be ready to discuss how you've managed client portfolios in the past. Prepare examples that highlight your ability to handle payroll from start to finish, including any challenges you faced and how you overcame them.
✨Communicate Clearly
Since you'll be liaising with clients and team members, practice clear and concise communication. Think about how you would explain complex payroll issues to someone without a financial background.
