An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Negligence Solicitor to join my clients team on a Hybrid basis in their Manchester offices.

About the Role

  • My client is looking to recruit Grade B and Grade C qualified Solicitors (or similar level fee earners).
  • You will manage your own caseload of medical negligence claims from start to finish, working closely with clients, medical experts and counsel to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • There is the potential to get involved in larger group actions and high-profile cases alongside senior colleagues.

Essential Skills

  • Experience of working on medical negligence claims.
  • A sound understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol for Clinical Disputes and the CPR.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret medical evidence.
  • Knowledge of using case management software, ideally Proclaim.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • AvMa, Law Society clinical negligence panel or APIL membership (desired).
