Our client is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join their reputable and growing team in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and progressive law firm with a strong reputation across the region and nationally. The successful candidate will manage a varied civil litigation caseload while working within a supportive environment that encourages professional development and long-term progression. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from instruction through to conclusion
  • Handle disputes including commercial and residential landlord and tenant matters, debt recovery, building disputes, breach of contract claims, and general civil litigation
  • Assist with a smaller volume of personal injury matters where required
  • Undertake pre-action work and progress matters in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, schedules of loss, and court documentation
  • Prepare matters for hearings, negotiations, and settlement discussions
  • Undertake advocacy where appropriate
  • Take client instructions and provide practical, commercially focused legal advice
