Our client is recruiting for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1-2 years PQE to join their team on a fully remote basis.
The Role
You will provide high-quality legal services to clinical negligence clients, handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement. The role requires strong client care, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and triage incoming enquiries
- Advise and support clients throughout clinical negligence matters
- Manage a varied caseload from instruction to settlement
- Draft and prepare Letters of Claim, Letters of Response, witness statements, court documents, and instructions to counsel
- Analyse medical records and expert evidence, preparing chronologies and detailed reviews
- Liaise with medical experts, counsel, defendants, and insurers
- Advise clients on funding options including CFAs and ATE policies
- Negotiate settlements and manage all pre-action protocol and litigated matters under the CPR
- Maintain excellent client relationships and service standards
