We are looking for a Quality Technician / Junior Quality Engineer to support daily quality operations across our clients full production lifecycle — from raw material intake and supplier quality issues to in-process controls, finished-goods verification, and customer complaint investigations. The role ensures that our clients textiles meet demanding industrial, aerospace, and automotive standards, while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining product traceability and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-driven individual who wants to build experience toward a full Quality Engineer position.
Key Responsibilities
- Non-Conformance Management
- Lead data driven investigations into NCRs to improve quality across all production process (root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, “Is/Is Not”, etc.).
- Manage, quarantine, and document non-conforming product (NCRs) from raw materials to finished goods.
- Work with experienced technicians, operators, and quality team to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Track NCR closure and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Raise supplier non-conformance reports where required to resolve material supply issues.
- Support follow-ups with suppliers to verify corrective actions and improvements.
- Log and categorise customer complaints in line with internal systems and reporting requirements.
- Conduct structured investigations (root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, “Is/Is Not”, etc.).
- Prepare clear investigation reports, corrective action summaries, and response for customers.
- Ensure containment actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Track NCR closure and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
- Support the maintenance of quality management systems through internal audits and ensuring work is completed inline with internal quality standards.
- Support document control activities: updating work instructions, inspection sheets, and quality procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good problem-solving ability using structured quality tools a must.
- Experience in manufacturing quality control or technical inspection (1–3 years ideal).
- Ability to read technical specifications and quality standards.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- IT skills: Excel, QC databases, ERP systems.
Preferred / Desirable
- Basic understanding of textile processes (woven, nonwoven, coating, lamination) or willingness to learn.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial technical textiles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Internal audit trained for ISO-9001.
