Are you a recent graduate or experienced Therapy Assistant, looking to start or continue working in the SEN field? Are you empathetic, patient and understanding? You could be working in a specialist school or provision to heighten your skillset and gain valuable experience working with ASD and Mental Health Needs within Education. Link Education are representing several Primary, Secondary and Specialist SEN Schools in Maidstone and surrounding areas that are looking for Therapy Assistants to start immediately.
The role will consist of working alongside students in their day-to-day school life, supporting learning and delivering national curriculum in the classroom, managing behaviours and working alongside the school’s team of specialists that include Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapist and Educational Psychologists.
Job Description:- Therapy Assistants (Permanent Contract)
- Working in Maidstone East.
- 08:30 – 15:30 working day.
- Full time, Monday to Friday.
- £22,500 - £24,500
- ASAP Start.
- A keen interest and willingness to work with challenging behaviour and SEN.
- Prior experience with SEN is preferred but not essential.
- Reliably commutable to the Maidstone area.
- Possess a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to acquire one.
