The Clarendon Academy is looking for a confident and reliable Driver to cover morning minibus transport for its students. This is a fantastic, part-time opportunity to join our dedicated team and help get pupils safely to school.
Contract: Fixed term (until 17th July 2026).
Working Hours: Part-time (10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time only, 38 weeks per year). Usual working hours will be 8am until 10am.

Clarendon Academy is a thriving co-educational, non-denominational secondary school and sixth form, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 18. Located in the town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and within easy commuter distance from Bath, we pride ourselves on being a centre of excellence and a place where students enter in Year 7 and leave us at the end of Year 13. We are part of the Acorn Education Trust, which provides opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.
The successful candidate will have a full, clean driving license, be organised and consistent, and have a solid understanding of Health and Safety requirements. Previous experience in a similar driving role is desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to drive our 7-seater minibus.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a full, clean driving licence and is prepared to drive a minibus;
- Has strong interpersonal and communications skills and can liaise effectively with school staff and pupils;
- Has a can-do attitude with excellent practical and organisational skills;
- Can prioritise and schedule effectively and efficiently;
- Is self-motivated, dedicated and consistent;
- Is a strong team player who can use their own initiative;
- Is aware of health and safety requirements;
- Has previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
