The Clare School is looking to appoint a Care Team Member to join our warm and welcoming school, which was graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted at its last inspection. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Care Assistant who will support a whole range of children and young people throughout the school. Pupils at The Clare School have a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs.
You will assist pupils who have reduced continence control with their toileting, cleaning and changing, and at all times ensuring that the pupils are comfortable and treated with dignity. You will also help pupils with their postural management such as supporting them with walking, using standing frames and supporting and encouraging them to participate in their physiotherapy routines. Part of this role will involve helping pupils with their feeding and drinking, including gastrostomy feeding. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
