We do what we say…and we’re keen to hear from people like you who make it their business to get things done!We have an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to lead and deliver civil engineering projects across the Hampshire area as part of the SWDP Infrastructure Contract.

This is a key position focused on ensuring works are completed safely, to a high standard, on time, and within budget, while maintaining full compliance across all project activities.

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for projects from inception through to completion.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives Deliver works safely, on programme, and within budget Manage and monitor project programmes, construction documentation, and drawings Ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures and company standards Prepare and review RAMS and manage permit systems Coordinate temporary works, deep excavations, and other complex activities Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Monitor site performance, report progress, and escalate issues where necessary We would love to hear from you if…You are an experienced Site Manager with a minimum of five years in a similar role, bringing strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams while effectively managing subcontractors.

You will have experience working under NEC contracts and be confident in interpreting construction drawings and project programmes, with a strong commitment to maintaining high HSEQ standards.

You will hold either SSSTS or SMSTS and have experience operating as a Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor.

You will also be qualified in deep excavations and hold NRSWA Supervisor certification, along with Water Hygiene (Blue Card) and Underground Service Detection.

A valid CSCS card and First Aid qualification are essential, as is a full UK driving licence.

You will also be comfortable using IT systems, with strong Excel skills.

Experience within sewage or clean water networks, utilities, or highways projects would be advantageous, alongside a good understanding of cost and resource control and the practical implementation of temporary works.

You will be organised, reliable, and proactive in resolving on-site challenges, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
