The Role: We have a great opportunity for a proactive and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Clancy, working on our Imperial Park contract in Newport. In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a variety of projects. If you are passionate about project management and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Here are some of the activities that you will get involved in:

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of project plans
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to define objectives, scope, and deliverables
  • Supporting the allocation of resources and task assignments
  • Identifying and helping to resolve any obstacles that may affect delivery timelines
  • Monitoring and managing project tasks, schedules, and key milestones
  • Ensuring all deliverables meet agreed quality standards

We'd love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

  • A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ), or APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ).
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, or business management would be an advantage.
  • A solid understanding of project lifecycle processes, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
  • A collaborative and reliable team player with excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Prior experience within the water industry would be a distinct advantage, though not essential.
