We have an opportunity for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our team, supporting the planning, permitting and compliance of works in line with current legislation and client requirements. This is a key role ensuring works are planned effectively, permits are raised correctly and deadlines are met, helping to keep operations running smoothly and compliantly. Here are some of the activities you will be involved with… Raising and managing permits and notices using Aurora (Symology) in line with NRSWA and Department for Transport requirements Monitoring permit conditions to ensure works are delivered within approved dates, times and traffic management requirements Submitting variations, extensions, early starts and cancellations as required Planning and coordinating works to minimise disruption to the public and surrounding areas Raising urgent and emergency notices within required timescales and maintaining accurate records Liaising with local authorities, utility providers and internal teams to avoid clashes and ensure efficient programming of works Managing road space bookings and supporting effective scheduling of activities Completing daily tasks and updates, including notice management and reporting requirements Ensuring all statutory notices (start, stop, reinstatements etc.) are submitted accurately and on time Working closely with Traffic Management teams to ensure alignment between permits and TM plans Acting as a key point of contact for site teams, local authorities and stakeholders, responding to queries and providing updates Monitoring performance and compliance to reduce the risk of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) Maintaining accurate records of all permits, notices and associated activities We would love to hear from you if… You have experience in a streetworks, permits or coordination role, with a good understanding of NRSWA requirements and associated legislation. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are key, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience using systems such as Aurora (Symology) or similar would be beneficial, alongside the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including site teams and local authorities. A proactive approach and the ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes will set you up for success in this role.
