We have an opportunity for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team, supporting the delivery of plant and materials across our operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll be operating a grab lorry, working across a range of sites and playing a key part in keeping projects moving.
Responsibilities
- Operating a grab lorry to deliver and collect plant and materials
- Supporting site teams with timely and efficient deliveries
- Ensuring loads are transported safely and in line with regulations
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Working in line with health and safety standards at all times
- Supporting general site activities where required
Qualifications and Experience
- You hold a full HGV Class 2 licence with HIAB, along with a valid CPC.
- Experience operating grab and clamshell equipment is essential.
- A HGV Class 1 licence would be an advantage, as would experience within the construction or utilities sector.
- A current Streetworks (NRSWA) ticket would also be beneficial.
- Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic are key, along with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to varying delivery and collection times.
- A good understanding of health and safety is essential.
