- Encourage innovation and a value engineering mindset across all elements of project delivery.
Qualifications
You are a degree-qualified civil engineer (or have equivalent experience) with a CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and a full UK driving licence. You\’ll bring significant experience managing civil engineering or utilities projects, with a strong grasp of CDM regulations, NEC contracts, and temporary works.
You should be confident in leading teams, overseeing site delivery, and handling commercial aspects including budgets and programme management. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to mentor and support staff in a collaborative environment.
Ideally, you\’ll hold or be working towards professional chartership (ICE, CIOB, CIHT, or APM) and may also have qualifications such as Temporary Works Supervisor, IOSH, ILM Level 3, or formal CDM and NRSWA training. Familiarity with confined spaces, lifting operations, and large-scale or complex infrastructure works is a definite plus.
