We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector / Assurance Engineer with a strong construction or utilities background to join our growing Energy sector team. This is a permanent role within a future-focused sector, offering strong opportunities for professional development and career progression. You will be involved in innovative energy infrastructure projects that help shape industry standards, working in an environment that actively encourages fresh ideas and original thinking.
Here are some of the activities that you will get involved in:
- Conducting 8-14 assurance audits per month
- Raising and managing Non-conformances, including arranging and chairing closure or escalation meetings where required
- Ensuring timely circulation of Non-conformance close-outs and lessons learned to Project Teams
- Reviewing inspection & test plans, assurance check sheets, and project assurance plans
- Working with Project Teams to maintain defect registers, supporting defect management and follow-up actions
- Owning and supporting assurance processes to ensure standards are consistently applied across projects
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of assurance processes
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Experience in the construction and/or utilities sector, particularly within site-based environments is essential, as is an understanding of site management practices and health & safety principles.
- Substantial experience in assurance and inspection-focused roles, with a sound understanding of planning, assurance, and control processes.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple audits and actions concurrently, alongside clear communication skills to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- A full and valid UK driving license.
