We have an opportunity for an Assistant P6 Planner to join our team working at Gallagher Quarry site in Maidstone (ME16 9NT). You’ll work alongside experienced planners and project managers, helping to develop, maintain and monitor project programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of project programmes using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
  • Working closely with site teams, engineers and project managers to gather accurate progress information.
  • Contributing to both short-term lookahead planning and long-term project scheduling.
  • Identifying programme risks and helping to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing progress updates and planning information for client reporting.
  • Maintaining accurate planning records, documentation and programme data.
  • Collaborating with operational and commercial teams to ensure coordinated project delivery.

Qualifications:

You have experience working within civil engineering, utilities or major infrastructure environments and have been exposed to project planning, scheduling or project controls activities. You will understand construction processes and project lifecycles and feel confident using planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or similar, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. A full UK manual driving licence is required due to the location of the offices. Please note we are unable to offer sponsorship with this role.
