We do what we say.... That's why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises, people who enjoy getting things done!
The Role...
A well-run store is at the heart of our operation, without it, our technical teams would struggle to be successful in their roles, which would adversely impact our clients and their customers.
Within our stores we hold a variety of stock to keep the operation running, such as pipes & fittings used in the gas industry and we need you to take charge and make sure all these items are stored safely, can be found easily and records are up to date.
Here are some of the activities you'll get involved in...
- Manage and maintain accurate records of plant hire
- Take delivery of new stock, checking all delivery notes and reporting any discrepancies
- Undertake regular and frequent inspections of stores buildings and external storage compounds
- Maintain a safe and tidy store area in accordance with health & safety practices
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Assist with quarterly and full stock taking activities
- Loading and offloading of vehicles by forklift, once training has been completed
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate...
- Previous experience in a similar role, a full clean UK driving licence and great organisational and communication skills are essential.
- You should be technology-savvy.
- Being client‑focused with a get it right first time attitude are both important attributes to being successful in this role.
- A forklift licence would be an advantage.
