You will be playing a key role in delivering environmental expertise across our civil engineering projects, addressing challenges and driving sustainable innovation that minimises negative impacts of key infrastructure projects in the South East. This is a dynamic and hands-on role that requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will work closely with colleagues, clients, and statutory regulators to ensure environmental compliance, risk mitigation and continual improvement.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:

  • Offer incident management support, advising operational teams and promoting best practices.
  • Ensure incidents and near misses are reported, categorized, and followed up with corrective actions.

We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:

  • A degree in Environmental Science (or an equivalent qualification/experience) is essential, along with experience in consents and permitting processes related to construction projects.
  • A genuine passion for environmental protection and continuous improvement is crucial, along with a commitment to identifying new opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • As this role is predominantly field-based, a full UK driving licence is essential. Travel will be throughout the South East.
