Clancy are seeking a Water Network Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has the ability to take on a physically demanding role, and can thrive in all-weather conditions.
Here are some of the daily activities you will be involved with:
- Locating and repairing mains water defects
- Ensuring equipment and systems are fit for use, properly maintained, and fully operational
- Carrying out risk assessments to ensure safe working practices
- Maintaining strict compliance with Clancy Group health, safety, and environmental standards
- Acting as a mentor and coach to less experienced colleagues, helping them develop their skills
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- You have proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, with a solid knowledge and understanding of the construction and water industry.
- You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential, and an NRSWA qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience in underground service detection using tools such as CAT and Genny, along with a strong awareness of health and safety practices, will be vital to success in this role.
- While a CSCS card (or equivalent) would be an advantage, we would also value experience operating plant such as diggers or excavators.
- Additional qualifications including an Excavator Ticket, DOMS, Streetworks (Units 1 and 3 minimum), and recognised Service Avoidance Training would be highly beneficial.
