The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Overview: 12 month fixed term contract, supporting delivery across the Anglian Water Alliance. This is a key role working closely with our delivery partners, helping to ensure works are carried out safely, compliantly and to the highest standards. You will play a vital part in identifying and understanding the root causes behind Streetworks non-compliance, helping to reduce risk, avoid penalties and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out detailed root cause analysis on Fixed Penalty Notices, overruns and defect charges to identify underlying issues.
- Reviewing and verifying charges and payments related to Streetworks activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Working with operational, commercial and supply chain teams to address non-compliance and reduce repeat issues.
- Producing reports and analysing data to highlight trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is captured and reported effectively.
- Supporting the recovery of costs through collaboration with commercial teams and supply chain partners.
- Acting as a key link between internal teams, clients and external stakeholders including Highway Authorities.
- Driving improvements in processes, controls and overall Streetworks performance.
Requirements:
- You have a good understanding of Streetworks legislation, including NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act, and are confident applying this knowledge in an operational environment.
- Experience with Streetworks systems and the ability to analyse data, identify trends and produce clear, meaningful reports.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- You will be highly organised, detail-focused and methodical in your approach, with the ability to investigate issues thoroughly and identify true root causes rather than surface-level problems.
- Strong communication skills are key, as you will be working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and supply chain, supporting collaboration and driving improvements.
- Experience within utilities or infrastructure would be advantageous, along with exposure to systems such as Street Manager, SAP or similar.
