Clancy are looking to recruit a permanent Support Driver on our South East Water contract to assist site teams with the safe operation of vehicle and plant machinery. You will be responsible for undertaking a range of maintenance activities supporting our operational repair & maintenance crews carrying out work.
Here are just some of the activities you’ll be involved in:
- Ensure the safe operation of vehicle & plant machinery
- Assist teams carrying out works in the highway and on private property and premises across the Hazards Green area, helping to set up site and close, delivering signs & barriers, running out fittings to the team and letter drops
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring sites are safe prior to start and following completion of work
- Minimise disruption to residents
We'd love to hear from you if you have a full UK manual driving licence, NRSWA qualifications units 1 and 2 (SLG), good organisational skills and enjoy working in a physically challenging environment. The role requires an extensive amount of physical activity so demonstrable ability to perform in this aspect is essential. If you have previous experience – even better!
