We have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our high-performing team delivering projects on our Thames Water contract. This is a varied role, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of essential water and wastewater infrastructure works across a range of complex civil engineering projects. You will be involved in works including the interceptor programme, complex civils, deep excavations, sewer repairs and new drainage installations, ensuring sites are managed safely, compliantly and to programme.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:

  • Coordinating site works alongside the Project Manager to ensure safe, efficient and compliant delivery across Thames Water projects
  • Managing day-to-day delivery of self-delivered works and subcontractor packages across complex civils, drainage, sewer repair and interceptor programme works
  • Overseeing works involving deep excavations, confined spaces and temporary works, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Implementing CDM requirements and ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
  • Producing, reviewing and managing RAMS, permits and site documentation for planned works
  • Carrying out site inductions, HSEQ inspections and ongoing safety monitoring
  • Managing streetworks requirements and coordinating suitable traffic management plans where required
  • Maintaining accurate site records, quality assurance documentation and as-built information
  • Managing plant, labour and material requirements, including plant hire and off-hire
  • Working collaboratively with operational, commercial, client and supply chain teams to maintain programme and delivery objectives

We would love to hear from you if you have proven experience managing site delivery within utilities, water, wastewater, civils or infrastructure environments, with a strong understanding of safe delivery on complex operational sites. Experience of deep excavations, drainage installations, sewer repairs, confined spaces and temporary works would be highly advantageous. You will be confident leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining high standards across safety, quality, programme and client delivery. Strong organisational skills, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple workstreams safely and efficiently are key to success in this role. You will hold SMSTS, NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor, Temporary Works Coordinator, EUSR and Thames Water Passport. Confined Space training and a full UK driving licence are also required.
