We're looking for someone who takes pride in running an organised, efficient and professional operation, while supporting and developing the people around them.

Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved in…
- Managing the central parts and stores operation, ensuring stock is controlled, traceable and readily available.
- Leading and developing a small stores team, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards.
- Managing inventory levels, stock accuracy and cycle counting processes.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, optimise stock holding and improve efficiency.
- Building productive relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and securing value for money.
- Supporting procurement activity, order management and cost control.
- Working closely with Fleet, Workshop and Operational teams to minimise vehicle and plant downtime.
- Managing urgent parts requirements and ensuring compliance-critical items remain available.
- Producing management information relating to stock utilisation, spend, supplier performance and inventory accuracy.
- Maintaining a safe, organised and compliant stores environment.
What success looks like…
- A well-run, organised stores operation.
- High levels of stock accuracy and inventory control.
- Strong supplier performance and effective cost management.
- Parts and consumables available when required to support fleet uptime.
- A motivated team with clear standards and accountability.
- Continuous improvement in how the stores function supports the wider business.
We'd love to hear from you if...
- Experience managing a parts, stores or inventory operation within a fleet, plant, commercial vehicle, engineering, construction or similar environment.
- Experience supervising or managing a team.
- Strong stock control and inventory management expertise.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing supplier performance.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost control.
- Good IT skills, including stock control, inventory or fleet management systems.
- The ability to build effective working relationships across operational and support teams.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A Forklift or telehandler experience would be desireable.
