  • You'll bring strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • You’ll have an interest in understanding construction drawings and specifications and be willing to learn how to interpret these with the support of the team.
  • A logical and methodical approach will help you get to grips with take‑offs and quantity reviews as your experience grows.

  • You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and comfortable using Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Awareness of programming or scheduling tools, such as Microsoft Project, would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills are important, along with an interest in utilities infrastructure and how networks are built and maintained.
  • Most importantly, you’ll be keen to learn and develop as part of a structured training and mentoring programme, with the confidence to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
