We have an opportunity for Grab Assistant, to join our busy Anglian Water team based out of our Great Billing depot. This is a permanent role, and we\’re able to offer you longevity and security.

The Role:

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of activities assisting site teams with the safe operation of vehicle and plant machinery in relation to maintenance work.

Here are some of the activities you\’ll get involved in…

  • Ensure sites are safe prior to starting & following the completion of work
  • Comply with mobile device operation for the completion of daily work tasks
  • Comply with legal and legislative policies and procedures in relation to health safety and environmental policies and the highway code
  • Maintain driver qualifications and complete daily operational/maintenance checks on your vehicle

What do you need?

The role requires an extensive amount of physical activity so demonstrable ability to perform in this aspect is essential. You will also need to be based within a reasonable commute of the area due to our stand-by agreement, whereby a team need to be on-site within two hours of call out at any given time.

If you have a full driving licensce, NRSWA qualifications, abrasive wheels, good organisational skills and enjoy working in physically challenging environment, we would love to hear from you.
