We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team supporting the delivery of a major programme of works for South West Water. This is a key role focused on coordinating delivery activities, maintaining programme visibility and ensuring works progress safely, efficiently and in line with agreed objectives.
You'll work closely with operational teams, stakeholders and the client to help drive performance and achieve successful outcomes across the programme. Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:
- Contributing to the successful delivery of the programme, ensuring progress is monitored and aligned with agreed targets.
- Coordinating with operational teams to maintain programme momentum and resolve delivery challenges.
- Producing and maintaining project reports, dashboards and performance updates.
- Coordinating governance and progress meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and delivered.
- Monitoring risks, issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and maintaining effective communication across the programme.
- Assisting with programme planning, resource coordination and performance monitoring.
- Helping to ensure delivery objectives, timescales and customer expectations are achieved.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience working in a Project Manager role, ideally within utilities, water, civil engineering or infrastructure environments. You'll be confident coordinating multiple workstreams and working with a range of stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build effective working relationships and operate in a client-facing environment. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, monitoring progress and helping to drive performance across a busy programme. Experience producing reports, analysing project information and supporting delivery teams to achieve programme objectives would be highly beneficial. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues before they impact delivery will help you succeed in this role.
