We're excited to announce that applications to join our Groundworker Apprenticeship are now open! Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we're a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform.
The Role
In this exciting 18 month hands-on practical programme you will learn about segregation of works, locating and protecting utilities and excavations, through the Highways Maintenance Level 2 programme. On-site you will learn about clearing and setting up sites ready for construction, digging and excavating, safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment such as surveying equipment, pneumatic drills, trenchers. As part of your apprenticeship, you will attend block release training with your apprentice colleagues at the CITB campus located at Bircham Newton in Norfolk — don't worry, we'll cover your travel, food and accommodation costs! Most of our work is located in London and Kent so as part of your programme, you could be based on a number of different sites to ensure you gain the skills and knowledge towards your apprenticeship.
