We are ambitious
We\’re keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you who are interested in developing their supervisory experience in the world of utilities.

We\’re looking for an experienced and passionate Construction, Design and Management Practitioner to help drive safety and compliance on reactive water excavation projects across the western Anglian Water region. You\’ll play a key role in ensuring CDM 2015 regulations are met, with a strong focus on health and safety, temporary works, and lifting operations in a fast-paced environment.

These are just a few of the activities you\’ll be involved in:

  • Lead as Principal Designer, reviewing design packs and pre-construction info.
  • Keep our projects moving by managing design and RAMS approvals.
  • Oversee Temporary Works and ensure procedures are followed on site.
  • Support and approve lifting operations, mentoring teams on safe practices.
  • Carry out site safety audits, reporting hazards and promoting a zero-incident culture.
  • Train and coach engineers and technicians on CDM, lifting, and temporary works.
  • Work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient projects.

Qualifications

You will be an experienced supervisor, with a good all-round knowledge of the construction & water industry ideally on excavation projects. However, we are more interested in you demonstrating the right behaviours. If you can showcase these attributes and possess applicable qualifications such as CPCS Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) certification, CITB Temporary Works Coordinator qualification, IOSH and a full UK driving licence, we would love to hear from you.
