We're looking for Water Rehabilitation Operatives to join our team, carrying out rehabilitation and repair works across the clean water network in the Penzance and Camborne area. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to play a key part in maintaining and improving essential water infrastructure. You’ll be paired with a highly experienced Team Leader who will support your development and help you build your knowledge and experience within the clean water sector.
Key activities:
- Carrying out water main rehabilitation and repair works across the clean water network.
- Locating and repairing water mains defects.
- Undertaking rehabilitation techniques including slip lining, pipe bursting, directional drilling, mains connections and open‑cut works.
- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use, maintained and fully operational.
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring safe systems of work are followed.
- Maintaining strict adherence to all Clancy health, safety and environmental procedures.
We would love to hear from you if...
- You have previous experience working on clean water networks, with a good all‑round knowledge of the construction and water industry.
- Additionally, experience in water main rehabilitation, including techniques such as slip lining, pipe bursting, directional drilling, mains connections and open‑cut works, would be highly desirable.
- However, if you have a strong water network background and are keen to develop these specialist skills, full training and support will be provided.
- A full UK driving licence is also required.
