The Role: We are delighted to work with SSE and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with NRSWA and client specifications.
- Ensure all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalation.
- Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
- Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
- Carry out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlight/escalate deviations.
- Cooperate in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
Qualifications:
- Full and valid driving licence.
- CSCS and / or EUSR card.
- Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
- Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices.
- Relevant plant tickets such as dumper, telehandler etc.
