Supervisor in London

You will play a key role in leading your teams to deliver works safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, ensuring we consistently exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Motivating and managing your team, creating a positive, engaging, and high‑performing working environment.
• Ensuring all works comply with health, safety, environmental legislation, and water quality requirements.
• Monitoring team and individual performance, providing constructive feedback and support where required.
• Promoting continual improvement and encouraging innovative ideas, sharing best practice across the business.
• Ensuring all administration and reporting is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to plan works effectively and optimise labour, plant, and materials while reducing risk.
• Championing a right‑first‑time approach and a strong zero‑harm safety culture.

Qualifications & Experience

People who enjoy getting things done and who appreciate their role in helping others to be successful. You have previous experience in a supervisory role within the water or construction sector, ideally delivering clean water or mains renewal projects. You will hold a full, clean UK manual driving licence and have the relevant site‑based qualifications, including Streetworks Supervisor (NRSWA) and SMSTS. A good working knowledge of water hygiene, service avoidance, and first aid is essential, along with the ability to lead teams safely and effectively in a live operational environment. Strong communication, organisation and IT skills (including Microsoft Office) will support success in this role. In this fast‑paced environment, your health and safety expertise, combined with a practical, hands‑on leadership style, will be key to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
