Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project administration, including maintaining document management systems and uploading site information.
- Prepare project packs for construction, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
- Provide administrative support to the project team to keep work organised and on schedule.
- Coordinate PMO activities, including setting up new jobs and supporting update sessions.
- Support site operations by managing permits, ordering site consumables, and arranging plant hires.
- Assist with health and safety reporting, including compliance checks and routine data collation.
- Support site teams with project close‑out documentation and quality sign‑offs.
- Promote strong health and safety standards, supporting audits, reporting near misses, and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience supporting multiple projects, ideally within the water or wider utility sector.
- Good understanding of project management.
- Confidence using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to adapt to company‑specific software.
- Strong awareness of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients, colleagues and management.
- Proactive, flexible, self‑directed, able to take initiative, with strong problem‑solving abilities and close attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
