We are looking for a Traffic Management Operative to support the safe movement of commuters through temporary roadworks.
Responsibilities
- Check equipment and systems are fit for use and fully operational
- Record any damage
- Maintain battery banks
- Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
- Manage checklists
- Complete timesheets and risk assessments
- Ensure vehicles, tools and other equipment are maintained and ready to use
- Assist with maintaining a safe, tidy and clean yard
Qualifications
- A full and valid UK driving licence is required.
- Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a "can do" attitude.
- Experience in a similar role or in a safety‑critical environment is important.
- Tickets such as Lantra, TTMBC and Streetworks are not essential as full training will be provided.
Benefits
- Hours: 07:30 – 17:00
- Contract: Permanent, Full Time
- Pay: £12.71 – £14.21 per hour, plus van and fuel card, bonus & standby
- Overtime paid after 9 hours Mon‑Fri and at overtime rate for Sat, Sun and callouts
