Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we are a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform. In this Level 3, 28-month programme you will be working closely with our highly respected and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisors, supporting them to provide exceptional health, wellbeing and safety advice and support, in relation to works carried out by our operational colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the H&S Advisor to carry out investigations into accidents and incidents
- Support the H&S Advisor in completing any administrative tasks such as writing reports
- Assist with implementing new initiatives or sharing best practice with colleagues
- Assist with communicating new working practices in line with any new legislative requirements or best practice
Qualifications
- A genuine eagerness to support the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, as well as an interest in the utilities/infrastructure sectors
- A full and valid driving license is essential, as you will be attending several sites
- GCSEs grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Computer literacy and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
