We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 3 Apprentice Civil Engineer, to join our team, supporting an exciting project for HS2, based in Southam. Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we are a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform.
Here are some of the activities you will get involved with:
- Assist senior engineers with design, planning and technical tasks across projects.
- Support the preparation and updating of technical drawings, models and specifications.
- Help collect, record and analyse technical data to support engineering decisions.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, surveys, or testing activities under supervision.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, calculations and documentation.
- Learn to use industry-standard engineering software, tools and systems.
- Support the coordination of engineering activities with other teams and disciplines.
- Follow health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
- Assist with identifying risks, issues, or improvement opportunities on projects.
- Maintain accurate records in line with project and company requirements.
- Apply relevant engineering standards, codes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C/4 and above, including Mathematics & English Language; or an equivalent qualification such as a BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Construction or Engineering at Merit or Distinction.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A full and valid driving licence.
