We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Law Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to join a well-established and growing legal practice based in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor to take the next step in their career, handling a varied and rewarding caseload in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters including:
- Divorce and separation
- Cohabitation and pre/post-nuptial agreements
- Domestic abuse cases
- Represent clients at court and liaise with counsel as required
- Conduct client meetings and maintain excellent client care throughout
- Draft legal documentation, statements, and correspondence
- Participate in business development and networking activities
Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in family law
- Solid experience managing your own caseload independently
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A client-focused approach with a commitment to high levels of service
- Experience using case management systems is advantageous
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- A following is an advantage but not essential
