Salary: £31,000 per annum + bonuses

Hybrid working: after probation you will be able to work from home 2 days per week.

We are seeking a Senior Collections Advisor to join our dynamic team based in Manchester. As a leading motor claims company, we pride ourselves on our high standards of service and our commitment to supporting customers through their claims journey.

As a Senior Collections Advisor, you will play a key role in managing and collecting outstanding payments from clients, ensuring that all collections processes are efficient, effective, and customer-focused.

Your role will include:

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of customers with outstanding debts
  • Ensuring collections are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Handle inbound and outbound collections calls to negotiate payment terms and arrangements, providing solutions to customers with outstanding balances.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction whilst safeguarding company interests.
  • Maintain accurate records of collections activity, including communications, agreements, and payments, using the company's CRM system.
  • Handle escalated customer queries or disputes, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.

What we need from you:

  • We are looking for Collections Advisors with at least 3 years of experience
  • Proven experience in a collections or debt recovery role is a MUST
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations and handle objections
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a solutions-driven mindset
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
