The City Recruiter is proud to be working on behalf of a leading Manchester law firm to find an experienced and proactive Learning & Development Trainer to join their growing Audit & Compliance team. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in shaping the growth and capability of staff across a busy, multi-disciplinary legal practice.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing, delivering, and evaluating training courses for legal staff to ensure compliance with SRA regulations.
- Developing engaging L&D solutions that reflect business growth and change.
- Managing and updating eLearning content using LMS/LXP systems.
- Supporting apprenticeship and trainee programmes.
- Collaborating with auditors and compliance teams, with scope to be involved in compliance and audit activity.
What we’re looking for:
- A solid background in legal practice, regulatory compliance, or L&D within a law firm or regulated setting.
- Experience designing and facilitating training, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand.
- Confidence working with digital tools (Microsoft Suite, Teams, Zoom) and learning platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for developing people.
- Previous experience creating LMS content is highly beneficial.
