About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced legal environment. You will work closely with experienced solicitors, providing support across a range of legal matters while developing your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with case management, including preparing case files and maintaining accurate records.
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Liaising with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders professionally and promptly.
- Preparing and reviewing legal correspondence and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks, such as document management and file organization.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Managing vehicle damage claims, including gathering evidence, negotiating settlements, and liaising with clients.
- Ensuring prompt and accurate compliance with court directions and client care standards.
Requirements:
- A recent law graduate (LLB, GDL, or LPC) with a strong academic background.
- Interest in a career in Law, with customer service experience being a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
