We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team as HR Recruitment Apprentice. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the recruitment process while providing administrative support to the Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Assistant and wider HR Team. You’ll be the first point of contact for a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, consistently acting as a positive ambassador for the College Group.
Salary: £22,283 per year

Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support in all stages of the recruitment journey (advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and appointment).
- Inputting data into HR systems and maintaining databases and trackers as appropriate.
- Assist with candidate sourcing and screening as required.
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews, liaising with candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Processing all new starter checks.
- Acting as first point of contact for bank staff requests.
- Raising requisitions and undertaking routine finance duties.
- Producing reports as required.
- Supporting the administration of onboarding new staff from offer to induction and throughout probationary period, liaising with the wider HR team.
- Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information held within the office and compliance with data protection protocols and relevant policies as appropriate.
- Undertaking other administrative HR related duties as required.

Essential Criteria:
- GCSE in English and Maths or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, relationship management and influencing skills, ability to work well as part of a team.
- Computer literacy – ability to use all Microsoft packages and internet-based platforms.
- Ability to work independently to a high standard, taking accountability and ownership for mistakes and a commitment to self-reflection and learning.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Innovative and creative with the ability to problem solve.
- Resilient with the ability to cope with pressure and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working in an office environment.
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders or as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent speaking in any of the mentioned languages: Arabic, Persian, Kurmanji (Northern Kurdish), Sorani (Central Kurdish), Portuguese, Spanish, Tigrinya, Vietnamese, French.
